It is kind of ironic that the banking system is used the latest in information technology available in the world, while we are at the bottom of the economic ladder. Fiserv is the second leading banking accounting software company in the United States, behind JackHenry & Associates, for community banks.
For the bankers in the country to go with the best available banking tools in the world - I don't know whether they bought the full application or just some minute part of it - it shows that Haitian bankers somehow are striving for excellence in service delivery. It would be nice to know that they apply that same philosophy in their efforts for being the engine for development in the country.
