doc. [P]

It follows the surreal journey through Haiti of voodoo priest Edgar and Rasta Juste to discover if any native black pigs survive. 12 years ago the entire species of little black Haitian pigs were massacred by US AID backed
programme to combat African Swine Fever. The pigs had been the banking system of the peasants- left to forage for themselves and then sold when needed to pay for 'luxuries' medicine, schooling and housing. Their loss of their 'piggy bank' was a catstrophe, causing deforestation, emigration and even deeper poverty.
