BEYEN
This recipe is the typical recipe done by the machan beyen at Carnival time.
It calls for very little flour.
Ingredients
Very ripe bananas (not bruised)
1 tablespoon of flour
¼ teaspoon cinnamon powdered
¼ teaspoon Vanilla extract
Sugar to taste
Dash of baking soda
Mash the bananas after taking the heart off. Add the flour.
Mix well.
Add the spices.
Mix well.
Taste it and add sugar to taste.
Drop the batter by spoon full in very hot oil (I like using a deep fryer, so practical & clean).
Fry until golden brown.
Drain on paper, sprinkle with sugar.
It is that simple & YUMMIE!!!
